Common twayblade Listera ovata Grand listère
Presence in Height. 20cm - 60cm Leaves. 2 oval, low down on stem, dull green and ribbed. Flowers. Numerous and small in a slender spike like raceme, yellowish-green, sepals and petals not spreading widely but forming a loose hood. Hanging lip notched at the end. Flowering period. April - June Soil type. Most types, damp or dry, calcareous or acid. Full sun or partial shade. Protection. None known
